I have nothing against the Flaming Lips, but if "Do You Realize" is Oklahoma's best or favorite rock song then we are in sad, sad shape, rock-wise. I would take a bunch of Leon Russell music over this. Or Hoyt Axton.

Leon Russell does rock, and Hoyt Axton was a great songwriter. My personal vote was for "Oklahoma" by The Call, led by Norman's Michael Been. A fantastic anthem that (IMNSHO) perfectly drills into the Oklahoma experience, especially for those on the margin of "acceptable society".
